Dr. Meaghan Ferguson is a clinical health psychologist, having completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at York University, with a specialization diploma in health psychology.

Meaghan has garnered extensive experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, interpersonal problems, and relationship challenges. She also works with individuals experiencing health related concerns, including acute and chronic pain, cancer, treatment decision making and caregiving. She has practiced in both private practice and hospital settings, including various hospitals within the University Health Network in Toronto.

In these roles, she provides clinical interventions for individuals and couples, utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic approaches such as schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and supportive counselling. Meaghan is adept at incorporating goal-setting techniques to facilitate client progress and personal development.

Her approach to therapy is empathic and collaborative, and follows an integrative model of evidence-based therapies, to provide the approach best-suited to an individual’s needs.
